PLANS TO REOPEN:

The church council members held a meeting via zoom on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 to discuss the plans to transition to our regular weekly schedule.

PHASE ONE: March-May, 2020

- Saturday bible study through Zoom
- Sunday services via Youtube (worship) and Periscope (Prayer and Sermon).
- Food Pantry is opened with Social Distancing practice in full effect; volunteers will utilize Walker
Hall to prep, the food will be carted outside and recipients will receive it there.
- All other programs will be on hiatus.

PHASE TWO: JUNE 7, 2020

The only change from phase one is that the Pastor and the Worship Team will begin meeting in the Sanctuary to live stream Sunday Services online via Youtube. The current NJ restriction is a maximum of 10 participants in an indoor social gathering so the soft reopen has to be pushed a little further.

PHASE THREE: June 14, 2020

The Church will have a soft reopen as Governor Murphy has allowed houses of worship to open on a limited basis. See NJ Reopening Guidelines
- The Maximum capacity is 45 people which is 25% of the total maximum occupancy of 180.
- Only the main entrance of the sanctuary will be accessible to the public. All other entrances will be
locked to help prevent the spread of the virus.
- Deacons will stand in the entrance to take the temperatures of the people coming in. The cut off
temperature is 100.1°C. We believe that God is able to heal but He also gives us wisdom (Proverbs
2:6
) to make sound decisions based on good counsel (Proverbs 5:22) and not to carelessly test Him
(Deuteronomy 6:16).
- As a precaution, there will be no time of fellowship following services. Walker Hall will remain
closed to the public.
- Food Pantry will continue to open using phase one instructions. All other programs will continue
to be on hiatus.
- Saturday Bible Studies and Sunday Services will continue on Zoom.

PHASE FOUR: TBA

Church activities will resume as scheduled

As of September 2023, ESL Classes, Children’s Choir, Friday Bible Study and Prayer, Praise and Worship Night and Fellowship time after Sunday Service have resumed.
